Jesús de la Villa is Professor of Ancient Greek Linguistics at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. His main fields of research are Ancient Greek and Latin syntax and semantics. He directs a research group that currently carries out several projects financed by the Spanish Government and different Spanish universities. The aim of these projects is to produce a complete map of verbal complementation in the classical languages. Since 2022, he is President of the Fédération Internationale des Associations des Études Classiques. Between 2018 and 2023, he was member of the Executive Committee of CIPSH.
