The Montreal Statement on Research Integrity in Cross-Boundary Research Collaborations was developed as part of the 3rd World Conference on Research Integrity, 5-8 May 2013, in Montréal, as a global guide to the responsible conduct of research. It is not a regulatory document and does not represent the official policies of the countries or organizations that funded or participated in the Conference.
The World Humanities Forum (WHF) was launched jointly by UNESCO and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea in 2011 to provide a space for humanities-oriented dialogue and discussion about what it means to be human, and the meaning of life in a time of global transformation. The WHF’s aim is also to strengthen research capacities and the role of the humanities in addressing global challenges.
The vision of the Memory of the World Programme is that the world’s documentary heritage belongs to all, should be fully preserved and protected for all and, with due recognition of cultural mores and practicalities, should be permanently accessible to all without hindrance.
